Swine Flu symptoms self-assessment
August 15, 2009Swine Flu virus is at rise and adding to its panic is current monsoon season. Normal flu or runny nose makes family tense. (mayoclinic/swine-flu)
Get yourself assessed and follow the First-Aid at home or prevention. Mayoclinic offers this and seems good to me to follow.
- Fever of 100.4F
- Blocked or runny nose
- Sore throat
- Dry cough
- severe widespread muscle aches
- Extreme fatigue or exhaustion
Check these symptoms and then status of flu if any.

I am Getting Married
May 8, 2009Yes, its one of the most important thing of life that should not be overlooked. Its one of the lesson in life that must be practiced. Finally I am all set to marry next month. I got engaged in the end of the February this year with the lovely lady chosen by my family. I see that from there on my post on the blog has been almost silent. No change happen without other change and change is what remains permanent. No change is bad. Its all depends on the person’s attitude about the change.
With this change, there has been a sudden rise in my telephone bill. I was never that talkative before, I never was that much patience to listen so much. Things are getting changed. I am setting house; cleaning, getting basic family needy things and on her nature setting the ambiance. Will be buying a car and bike will be in garage for the time. Hah!! I have spent a long bachelor life and enjoyed to its full. I am looking forward to enjoy the other part of this life by embracing the change to come. This is a brief post, I will update the things related to my marriage stuff.
Dear wanderers to this blog, I invite you to be part of this ceremony.
Mix 09 Quick Video Links that I pinned
March 28, 2009Coolthingoftheday just like the pdc2008 has all the video links for Mix09.
[what I am doing; no twittering]
I am on an assignment to understand the Vista security enhancement feature and similarity to Windows7 security feature that will make me to discuss the plan for application migration from Windows XP to the next OS platform. That said, I am looking after options to port both legacy and new managed applications either to Vista or to design migration path to Windows7. There are huge amount of information is available on the net, and I am badly challenged when I look after the fleet of mix kind of applications to port.
There is a PDC-2008 talk on the same topic that I am interested to ear.

You need breakthroughs at this time of dud
March 22, 2009Few of the attendees of the SXSW captured the motivational goodies presented by Kathy Sierra to our pleasurable reading.
Here are links that if combined will not miss anything:
Change Your World: Making Breakthroughs Happen with Kathy Sierra
Kathy Sierra’s Guide to Making Breakthroughs Happen
SXSWi2009: Change your World in 50 Minutes: Making Breakthroughs Happen
Why I liked the talk? Who does not like to be reminded of our hidden power even if its the same punch line but has sharp intention. At this time of slowdown or fear of recession, things looks going stupidly slow. Such talks is more required even if I read books of 1000 splendid gurus. No doubt such talk will be hit in this time and its never bad to redeliver or to reread.
I will see if I can do a breakthrough into my world by trying extraordinarily something for few weeks. It would be fun to update this page with the action items and breakthrough that I put into.
Cheers for the time!!!
