I came across this blog link of Roger von Oech, who writes about creative thinking and ideas. Recently his book, “A Whack on the Side of the Head” celebrated 25th Anniversary Edition.
Seriously, few stuff drags me to the site daily. One of the thing is the “Creative Whack Pack” stuff. Go to th site Creative Think and click the photograph of Roger Von Oech. This gives a random pick from his creative thinking strategy list, pictorial and story woven easy to swallow.
Whenever I feel mind is becoming dumb with mundane tasks, I either try fixing puzzles or I browse thru some inspirational/motivational website. One of the new things, I started to win in this situation is: I look for empty conference room and spend my time, giving whack on my head to plan or generate new idea. I try to think, which I love. I wish it remains with me.
